Michael Kiely, MS, SCCC, CSCS, is a sports scientist, performance coach, and Clinical Assistant Professor at Marquette University specializing in the intersection of strength and conditioning, biomechanics, and return-to-performance. His work combines evidence-based training with practical application to help athletes, active adults, and organizations make better decisions and achieve meaningful performance outcomes. Michael is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA), reflecting advanced standards in evidence-based strength and conditioning practice.

Prior to joining Marquette University, Michael served as a Sports Scientist at Training HAUS in Eagan, Minnesota, where he developed and integrated a sports science laboratory within orthopedic rehabilitation and high-performance environments. He specializes in return-to-performance biomechanics using motion capture, force plate, and dynamometry technologies to evaluate movement, guide exercise prescription, and optimize rehabilitation and performance outcomes. His experience spans athletes of all ages and competitive levels, including high school, collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. Michael currently serves as a sports scientist for Training HAUS's NFL Combine Preparation Program.

Michael believes that lasting performance is built through the thoughtful application of science, disciplined training, and a genuine investment in helping others succeed. Through Mudita Sports Science & Performance, he provides in-person and remote performance coaching, sports science consulting, and data-driven solutions that bridge the gap between rehabilitation and high performance.
